When to move from Prediction Mode to the Arena

Why this question matters

Moving from Prediction Mode (free) to the Arena (with money) is the most important decision of your Ktkarena journey.

If you move too early: you risk losing money you shouldn't have risked, just because the app made it easy. Lots of people do that and regret it.

If you move too late: you miss the opportunity to monetize your real prediction skills. If you're truly good, not betting means leaving money on the table.

Prediction Mode is an excellent filter to know whether you're ready or not. But many people don't know how to read the signals.

The 4 signals you're ready

Signal 1 - Your success rate is >55% over 100+ resolved predictions.

With fewer than 100 predictions, your rate isn't statistically reliable (too much randomness). With 100+, it's a real indicator. If you're above 55%, you're above chance (50%) and above the average (~52%). You have a real edge.

Signal 2 - You specialize in 1 or 2 themes.

If your 55% comes solely from predictions on European soccer, you're a European soccer specialist. You can bet in the Arena in that specific domain, where you have an informational advantage.

Signal 3 - You understand how you handle losses emotionally.

You can be an excellent predictor without ever having felt the real pain of losing money. It's different when 50K KTK actually disappears.

Signal 4 - You have a budget you can afford to lose.

Before betting, ask yourself: "If I lose 100% of this money, will my life be affected?" If the answer is yes, it's not the right amount. Reduce it or don't bet.

The signals you're not ready

Negative signals:

• Your prediction success rate is below 50%. You're betting at random or against your intuition. Not the time.
• You predict well but only on extremely easy events (overwhelming favorites). Your rate is inflated. On more balanced Arena events, you won't hold up.
• You have no specialization. You predict across every theme at random. The Arena will spread you thin and cost you dearly.
• You see betting as guaranteed income. Nobody wins every time. If you're counting on winnings to live, you'll ruin yourself.
• You've already lost money on other gambling platforms. You may have a gambling problem. Prediction Mode remains accessible; the Arena is dangerous for you. Consider a preventive self-exclusion.
• You're under 25 with little savings. Not an absolute rule, but statistically, young people without savings are the most at risk of significant losses.

If even one of these negative signals applies to you, stay in Prediction Mode. It's free and rewarding in its own way.

How to make a smooth transition

If you decide to move up to the Arena, do it gradually:

Step 1 - Complete your KYC.
Prediction Mode doesn't need it, the Arena does. Do it in advance. Sign-up tutorial.

Step 2 - Deposit a small amount.
For your first deposit, no more than 10,000 KTK (~€15). That's your discovery budget. How to deposit.

Step 3 - Bet only at the Discovery tier (1K-10K KTK).
For at least 1 month. Don't move up before you have at least 30 resolved bets at this tier.

Step 4 - Evaluate your results.
After 30 bets, look at your real Arena stats. Are you above a 55% success rate? Are you profitable after commissions? Did you handle your losses without panicking?

Step 5 - If everything's fine, move up gradually.
You can move to the Standard tier (10K-50K) if your 30 Discovery bets are solid. Not before.

Keep predicting in Prediction Mode in parallel: for the themes where you're not yet confident, stay in free mode. You can always get into them later.
