The app won't launch at all

Step 1 - Check the basics

1. Does your phone have enough storage?
If your phone is full, apps can crash at startup. Check:

• Android: Settings → Storage. Aim for at least 2 GB free.
• iOS: Settings → General → iPhone Storage. Aim for at least 2 GB free.

If you're short on space, free some up by deleting photos, videos, or unused apps.

2. Is your phone up to date?
A pending OS update can block certain apps:

• Android: Settings → System update.
• iOS: Settings → General → Software Update.

Install any available updates, then relaunch Ktkarena.

3. Force quit and relaunch.
As explained in The app is slow or crashes, fully close Ktkarena and relaunch.

4. Restart the phone.
A classic solution but effective in 20% of cases. Power off completely and turn it back on.

If after these 4 checks the app still refuses to launch, move on to step 2.

Step 2 - Uninstall and reinstall

This is the radical solution that fixes 90% of "the app won't launch" cases.

On Android:

1. Long-press the Ktkarena icon.
2. Uninstall.
3. Confirm.
4. Go to the Google Play Store, search for Ktkarena, and reinstall.
5. Launch the fresh install. Log in with your number and your password.

On iPhone:

1. Long-press the Ktkarena icon.
2. Delete App → Delete.
3. Go to the App Store, search for Ktkarena, and reinstall.
4. Launch, log in.

Step 3 - Check your OS compatibility

If reinstalling doesn't fix it, check that your OS is on a supported version:

• Android 8.0 minimum (Oreo, 2017).
• iOS 14 minimum (2020).

How to check:

• Android: Settings → About phone → Android version.
• iOS: Settings → General → About → Software Version.

If you're below that: you can't use the native app. Solution:

• Update your OS if an update is available.
• Use the web version at ktkarena.com from your phone's browser.

Step 4 - Dig deeper

If even reinstalling and checking your OS don't fix it, a rarer cause is at play.

Possibilities:

1. Conflict with another security app (mainly Android).
Some third-party antiviruses (Norton, McAfee mobile) block Ktkarena as a false positive. Solution: temporarily disable your antivirus and test.

2. Corrupted profile on your device.
Very rare, but if your Android user profile or your iCloud account has a corruption, some apps refuse to work. Solution: restart in safe mode (Android), or restart the iPhone.

3. A bug specific to your phone model.
Some rare phones can have model-specific bugs. Report it with your exact model.

• Exact phone model and OS version.
• Screenshots of the error if possible.
• App logs if you can retrieve them. Getting the logs.
