These steps are for the Android app, the only one that exists: there's no iPhone app yet.
Step 1 - Check the basics
1. Does your phone have enough storage?
If your phone is full, apps can crash at startup. Check in Settings → Storage. Aim for at least 2 GB free.
If you're short on space, free some up by deleting photos, videos, or unused apps.
2. Is your phone up to date?
A pending OS update can block certain apps: look in Settings → System update.
Install any available updates, then relaunch Ktkarena.
3. Force quit and relaunch.
As explained in The app is slow or crashes, fully close Ktkarena and relaunch.
4. Restart the phone.
A classic solution: power off completely and turn it back on.
If after these 4 checks the app still refuses to launch, move on to step 2.
Step 2 - Uninstall and reinstall
This is the radical solution.
- Long-press the Ktkarena icon.
- Uninstall.
- Confirm.
- Download the latest version of the beta from ktkarena.com/telecharger-beta (the app isn't on Google Play) and reinstall it.
- Launch the fresh install and sign back in (e-mailed code, Google or password).
Your data is preserved. Your balance, your challenges, your history, your friends, your leagues - everything is on our servers, not in the local app. Reinstalling only wipes the app, not your data.

Step 3 - Check your OS compatibility
If reinstalling doesn't fix it, check that your phone has the required Android version: Android 7.0 minimum.
How to check: Settings → About phone → Android version.
If you're below that: you can't use the app. If an Android update is offered for your phone, install it.
Step 4 - Dig deeper
If even reinstalling and checking your OS don't fix it, a rarer cause is at play.
Possibilities:
1. Conflict with another security app (mainly Android).
Some third-party antiviruses (Norton, McAfee mobile) block Ktkarena as a false positive. Solution: temporarily disable your antivirus and test.
2. Corrupted profile on your device.
Very rare, but if your Android user profile has a corruption, some apps refuse to work. Solution: restart in safe mode.
3. A bug specific to your phone model.
Some rare phones can have model-specific bugs. Report it with your exact model.

- Description: "The app won't launch at all. Here's what I've already tried: …"
- Exact phone model and OS version.
- Screenshots of the error if possible.
