Smartphones and tablets
Android:
- Minimum version: Android 8.0 (Oreo, released in 2017).
- Recommended: Android 11+.
- Android tablets: yes, the app automatically adapts to large screens.
- Tested brands: Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei (also without GMS via APK), OPPO, OnePlus, Realme, Tecno, Infinix, Itel (very popular in Africa), Google Pixel, Motorola.
iOS:
- Minimum version: iOS 14 (released in 2020).
- Supported iPhones: iPhone 8, 8 Plus, X, XR, XS, XS Max, 11 (all versions), 12 (all versions), 13 (all versions), 14 (all versions), 15 (all versions), 16 (all versions), SE 2nd and 3rd gen.
- iPads: all iPads on iOS 14+, including iPad mini, iPad Air, iPad Pro.
On a tablet: the interface automatically adapts to the larger screen. You see more elements on screen at once (for example, the chat next to the betting screen).
Computers (web version)
The web version of Ktkarena is accessible at ktkarena.com from any computer:
Supported browsers:
- Chrome (recommended, optimized).
- Firefox.
- Safari (macOS).
- Edge.
- Brave.
- Opera.
Minimum versions: any browser from the last 2 years (really lenient). If you're using Internet Explorer 11, it won't work - but nobody should be using it in 2026.
Systems: Windows 10+, macOS 11+, Linux (all modern distributions), Chromebook.
Features:
- Everything that works on mobile works on web: bets, predictions, chat, leagues, prediction mode, leaderboards.
- Adapted to large screens: you see more things at once.
- Real-time sync with your mobile account.

Watches and connected devices
Apple Watch: no standalone app. But if your iPhone is nearby and paired, you receive Ktkarena notifications on your Watch. You can read them and respond quickly (for example, accept a dispute).
Android Wear / Wear OS: same as Apple Watch - notifications received if your Android phone is nearby.
Standalone Watch app: planned on our 2027 roadmap.
Smart TV / Box: not supported. Ktkarena is designed for personal use on a small screen, not for TV. If you want to watch a match on your TV at the same time, keep the Ktkarena app on your phone to bet.
Car (CarPlay, Android Auto): not supported, for safety reasons (betting while driving is dangerous and probably illegal).
If your device isn't compatible
Several solutions:
1. Use the web version on your phone.
If your Android is too old (for example, Android 6) or your iPhone too old (iPhone 7 and earlier), open ktkarena.com in your phone's browser. The site works on older browsers than the native app.
2. Use a computer.
Even an old computer (Windows 7, macOS 10.13) can access the web version. It's our universal solution.
3. Buy a second-hand phone.
In Cameroon and CEMAC, you can find compatible second-hand smartphones (Android 8+) starting from 30,000-50,000 FCFA. A modest investment if you bet regularly.
4. Ask a friend.
If you don't have a compatible device right away, you can temporarily use a friend's device to log in to YOUR account (never multiple accounts on the same device - that's strictly prohibited by our anti-fraud rules).
