The 8 main rules
Rule 1 - Mutual respect. Treat other users with respect, even when you disagree. Criticize the analyses, not the people.
Rule 2 - No insults or hate speech. Personal insults, racist, sexist, homophobic speech, or any other form of hate are forbidden. Immediate sanctions.
Rule 3 - No fraud or manipulation. Don't use the platform for fraud, scams, or market manipulation. Don't create multiple accounts to get around the rules. Don't cheat on your KYC.
Rule 4 - No spam. No repeated messages, unsolicited advertising, links to shady external sites, or automatically generated content.
Rule 5 - No impersonation. Don't impersonate another person (real or Ktkarena user). No fake accounts with handles of celebrities, journalists, politicians, etc.
Rule 6 - No disclosure of personal info. Don't reveal other users' personal information (real name, address, number, private photos) without their consent. Doxxing is strictly forbidden.
Rule 7 - No unauthorized external promotion. No promotion of external products/services in public chats or DMs (except with explicit Ktkarena agreement for official partnerships). No affiliate marketing.
Rule 8 - No inappropriate behavior toward minors. Any sexual, abusive, or manipulative content targeting minors is strictly forbidden and results in an immediate ban + reporting to the authorities. Zero tolerance.
Keep in mind. These rules apply everywhere on the platform: event chats, DMs, private leagues, public profiles, reports.
How they apply in the different spaces
In the event chat (public):
- Very active automatic moderation (word filters).
- Fast human moderation (within 24h for reports).
- Violations often result in a temporary mute.
In DMs (private):
- Moderation only upon report.
- Private content is not proactively monitored.
- But when a report is filed, moderators can review the context.
In private leagues:
- Ktkarena moderation applies there too.
- But the league admin has a first level of internal moderation (deleting messages, removing members).
On public profiles:
- The photo, bio, and handle are moderated.
- Violations (offensive handle, offensive photo) → removal and warning.
In invitations and notifications:
- Even private league names or invitation messages are moderated if they contain offensive content.
The graduated sanction system
Ktkarena uses a proportional sanction system:
Level 1 - Warning. For first minor offenses (mild insult, light spam). You receive a notification: "Your message was reported. Here's a warning. The next offense will result in a heavier sanction."
Level 2 - Temporary mute in public chats. Duration: 1h, 24h, 7 days, or 30 days depending on severity. You can no longer write in event chats or send DMs. You can still bet/predict.
Level 3 - Permanent chat ban. For repeat offenders or serious offenses. You keep access to the platform to bet and predict, but you can no longer interact socially (chats, DMs, leagues).
Level 4 - Temporary account suspension. For major violations (detected fraud, repeated harassment, illegal content). Account suspended 7 to 90 days depending on severity. No action possible during the suspension.
Level 5 - Permanent account ban. For the most serious violations (serious fraud, illegal content, behavior toward minors, serious repeat offenses). Account closed permanently. No new account allowed with the same KYC identity.
Level 6 - Reporting to the authorities. For legally punishable violations (major fraud, child sexual abuse material, serious threats). Internal sanction + referral to the competent authorities.
How to contest a sanction
If you believe a sanction is unjustified, you can contest it:
- Go to Profile → My sanctions.
- Tap the sanction in question.
- Tap "Contest this sanction".
- Explain in detail why you believe the sanction is unfounded.
- Attach evidence if possible (screenshots, context).
- Submit.
Processing time: 48h on business days, up to 7 days for complex cases.
Decision:
- Sanction overturned: your access is restored, and the sanction is removed from your history.
- Sanction upheld: you receive a detailed explanation. The sanction continues as planned.
- Sanction modified: shortened duration or a lighter sanction type.
You can contest only once per sanction. The decision after the contest is final.
