The 4 steps to make your first prediction
- Open the Ktkarena app and log in (or sign up if you don't have an account yet - no KYC needed for prediction).
- Go to the "Prediction" tab in the main menu (next to the "Arena" tab).
- Browse the open events. You can filter by:
- Topic (Sports, Politics, Crypto, Culture, etc.).
- Date (today, tomorrow, this week, this month).
- Popularity (the most predicted by the community).
- Difficulty (easy-to-predict events vs complex ones).
- Tap an event that interests you. You see the two possible outcomes. Pick your side (for example, "Real Madrid wins" or "Barcelona wins"). Tap "Confirm my prediction". Done - in a few seconds.
What happens right after confirmation
Once your prediction is confirmed:
- It appears in "My predictions" (Prediction tab → My predictions).
- The predicted-events counter on your profile goes up.
- No KTK leaves your wallet (it's free).
- You can edit or cancel it as long as the event hasn't started. Editing or canceling a prediction.
You can also see overall stats on the event: how many people are predicting each side, the prediction rate of the "experts" (top 100 of the Oracle leaderboard), etc. It's interesting to see whether you're going with the community or against the grain.
When and how you receive the result
When the event resolves (the match ends, the election is decided), the resolution applies simultaneously to all Arena bets and all predictions on that event.
You then receive:
- A push notification: "Your event [X] is resolved. You won/lost [N] Oracle points."
- An update to your Oracle Score on your profile.
- An update to your leaderboard position (if applicable, the climb or the drop).
- A possible badge unlock if this prediction completed a challenge (for example, "10 correct predictions in a row").
It all happens automatically. You don't have to do anything to collect your points.
Making several predictions in parallel
No limit on the number of simultaneous predictions. You can predict 50 open events across 50 different sports, in the same week. It's your call.
Tips to manage it well:
- Stay reasonable at first: predicting too many events at once makes it hard to track your results. Start with 5-10 events per week, see how you do, increase gradually.
- Specialize in certain topics: you'll be more effective predicting what you master. Rather than 50 random events, make 20 well-chosen ones.
- Watch your Oracle leaderboard position: if you see your ranking dropping, you're predicting too randomly. Slow down and focus on your strengths.
