TL;DR

No fees on Ktkarena's side. The only possible fees are your provider's (1.5% for Stripe, 0.5% for Yellow Card, 0.4% for Kotani Pay, 0% for Mobile Money). They're exactly the same fees as for deposits - we add no markup.

Comparison list of fees by method, with a highlighted “No Ktkarena markup” box. Each row shows the method's icon, the fee percentage, and the label “Provider fee”.

No fees on Ktkarena's side

It's a strict rule: we take NO fees on your withdrawals. Our only revenue is the commission on winnings (1.5% to 5% depending on the stake tier).

Provider fees (which we don't mark up)

Method Withdrawal fee
Mobile Money (Orange, MTN, Wave)0%
Bank card (Visa, Mastercard)1.5%
USDC stablecoin (Yellow Card)0.5%
USDC stablecoin (Kotani Pay)0.4%

Good to know. These are the fees our providers charge us. We pass them on as-is, with no markup. That's different from traditional bookmakers, who sometimes mark up payment fees by 5 to 10%.

Why is Mobile Money free?

Because Orange, MTN, and Wave charge us nothing for outgoing transfers (unlike incoming ones). So we charge you nothing either.

What about exchange fees?

No explicit exchange fees, but the conversion rate from KTK to your local currency is based on market rates at that moment. If you deposit in FCFA and withdraw later, the rate may have shifted slightly. That's inherent to any multi-currency transaction.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

No. Our Legal Notice page and our Terms of Service are explicit: no fees other than those displayed at the time of the transaction. If you see an amount different from what was announced, report it - it's a bug to fix.

Because a significant share of their revenue comes from there. We chose to rely on the commission on winnings only. It's more transparent and better aligned with your interest: we earn when you win, not when you move money around.
