The golden rule of withdrawals
You withdraw to the same method you used to deposit. If you deposited via Orange Money, your withdrawal goes back to your Orange Money account. If you used a Visa card, your withdrawal goes back to that card. It's a standard anti-money-laundering measure.
If you used several deposit methods, you can choose which one to use for the withdrawal, but only among those you actually used to deposit. Learn more about this rule.
Step by step
- In the app, go to Wallet.
- Tap Withdraw.
- Choose the amount in KTK you want to withdraw.
- Check the equivalent amount in your currency (FCFA, EUR, etc.).
- Select the receiving method.
- Confirm with your password or Face ID.
- Check your inbox for the withdrawal confirmation.
Minimum amount
The minimum withdrawal is 5,000 KTK (equivalent to about 7,500 FCFA, 11 EUR, or 12 USD). Below this threshold, the cost of processing the transaction through our providers (Orange, Stripe, etc.) outweighs the benefit of the withdrawal.
KYC required for your first withdrawal
Important. Whatever the amount, your first withdrawal requires an identity verification (KYC). This is non-negotiable.
You will need:
- An ID document (passport, national ID card, driver's license).
- A proof-of-address document less than 3 months old.
- A verification selfie.
This validation usually takes between 4 and 48 hours. Until it's approved, your withdrawal stays pending.

Important note about bank cards: the withdrawal may appear "instantly" in the app but take 1 to 3 days to actually show up on your bank statement. Your bank controls that delay, not us.
Withdrawal fees
No fees on Ktkarena's side. The only possible fees are your provider's:
- Mobile Money: 0% (Orange, MTN, and Wave don't charge us for outgoing transfers).
- Bank card: 1.5% (Stripe fees, same as for deposits).
- USDC stablecoin: 0.5% (Yellow Card / Kotani Pay fees).
