iOS vs Android specifics
A few differences between the two versions:
- iOS: no alternative APK possible. Apple requires going through the App Store. If your country is restricted on the App Store, you have to use the web version.
- Face ID / Touch ID: available on iOS for biometric login. On Android, it's the phone's fingerprint sensor or facial recognition.
- Notifications: fine-grained notification management is more detailed on iOS. You can choose by category (resolutions, disputes, news) in Settings → Ktkarena → Notifications.
- Storage: the app takes ~95 MB on iOS, versus ~80 MB on Android. That's due to the heavier Apple frameworks.
What to do if something goes wrong
"The app doesn't show up in the App Store":
- Check that your Apple ID country matches a country where we operate (Cameroon, France, Belgium, Senegal, etc.). If you're registered in an unsupported country, you won't see the app.
- If needed, change your Apple ID country in Settings → [Your name] → Media & Purchases → View Account → Country/Region.
"Download stuck":
- Check your connection (WiFi/4G).
- Check that you have enough space left (~200 MB free minimum).
- Restart the iPhone and try again.
"The app refuses to launch after installation":
- Very rare, but possible if your iOS is very old. Check that you're on iOS 14+.
- Uninstall and reinstall.
