What happens in practice
When your dispute is rejected:
- The initial resolution stands. If you had lost, you stay a loser. If you had won, you stay a winner.
- Your KTK are released from escrow (since the bet leaves the DISPUTED status) and applied according to the initial resolution.
- You have nothing to do. It's automatic.
The bet moves from DISPUTED status to RESOLVED status in your history, with a note "Dispute rejected on [date]".
The explanation you receive
The admin sends you a detailed written explanation by email and in the app:
- The reason for the rejection: usually "non-factual grounds", "insufficient evidence", "invalid interpretation", "dispute out of scope".
- The reasoning: why the admin believes the initial resolution was correct.
- The sources: references used for the decision (API URLs, official screenshots, etc.).
- The ticket number: for future reference.
This transparency matters. You know exactly why you lost the dispute, not just "no, sorry".
Your options after a rejection
Once rejected, you can't re-dispute the same bet with different grounds. The admin decision is final.
But you still have two options:
1. Request a re-examination from general support. Only once. General support can check that there was no procedural error (for example, the admin forgot to look at evidence you had attached). If an obvious error is confirmed, the dispute can be re-examined by another admin. It's rare and exceptional.
2. Appeal to an external mediator (see next section).
The external mediator: your last resort
Ktkarena is regulated by the Commission nationale des jeux de hasard du Cameroun (CNJHC). If you believe our admin decision is clearly wrong, you can refer the matter to this authority for an external appeal.
How to proceed:
- Send a letter or email to the CNJHC presenting your case.
- Include your dispute ticket ID with us, the admin decision, and your evidence.
- The CNJHC investigates independently and can impose a binding decision on Ktkarena.
Contact details: available on the CNJHC's official website (cnjhc.cm) or by contacting our support, who will pass them on to you.
Important. The external mediator only handles major disputes. For a 10,000 KTK bet, you'll probably be turned away. But for significant bets (from 1,000,000 KTK) or cases of obvious fraud, it's a serious recourse.
