The difference between the 2 times
Time on Ktkarena's side: the time we take to process your request, run the anti-fraud check, and send the instruction to our provider.
Time until receipt: the total time you'll actually wait. It includes the time on Ktkarena's side + the provider's time (bank, operator, blockchain).
The special case of bank cards
With bank cards, there's a quirk: we validate your withdrawal instantly, but your bank can take up to 7 days to show the funds on your statement.
This bank delay varies depending on:
- Your country: European banks are fast (1-2 days), African banks slower (3-7 days).
- Your card type: debit cards are faster than credit cards.
- The timing: weekend or end-of-month transactions take longer.
Good to know. If we send you a "Withdrawal validated" email but nothing shows up on your card within 7 days, it's your bank that owes you an answer, not us. On request, we can provide proof of payment for you to forward to your bank.
When is it abnormal?
- Mobile Money: more than 30 min without confirmation.
- Bank card: more than 10 days without receipt.
- Stablecoin: more than 1 hour without confirmation.
