Summary table

Mobile Money (MTN) 45 sec 5 min 0%
Mobile Money (Wave) 20 sec 3 min 0%
Bank card (Visa) Instant 30 sec 1.5%

USDC stablecoin (Yellow Card) 3 min 10 min 0.5%
USDC stablecoin (Kotani Pay) 5 min 15 min 0.5%

Why these times?

Mobile Money depends on Orange, MTN, and Wave servers. We don't control how fast things move on the operator's side. Overall it's very fast, except during peak hours (evenings, end of month, paydays).

Bank card goes through Stripe, which validates the transaction in a few milliseconds. The only possible delay comes from 3D Secure if your bank requires an extra verification.

USDC stablecoin has to wait for blockchain confirmation. Yellow Card is usually faster than Kotani Pay thanks to better transaction caching.

How long before it's a problem?

If your deposit exceeds the max times listed above, something is wrong. Here's when to worry:

  • Mobile Money: after 15 minutes without confirmation, report the issue.
  • Bank card: after 5 minutes without confirmation, report the issue.
  • Stablecoin: after 30 minutes without confirmation, report the issue.

Good to know. Beyond these thresholds, open a ticket directly via My deposit isn't showing up - what should I do? Above all, do not make a second deposit while you wait.

Frequently asked questions

These are national platforms used by millions of people at the same time. In the evening, at the start of the month (salary payments), or during promotional periods (Black Friday, holidays), the servers slow down.

No, these are indicative times based on our statistics. We don't control third-party operators' infrastructure (Orange, MTN, Wave, banks, blockchain). However, in case of an abnormal delay, we always track down your deposit.
