Why link your social accounts

Three benefits:

1. Easier 1-click sharing.
When you share a bet/prediction card (see the previous article), if your Twitter is linked, sharing happens in a single tap (vs opening Twitter, copying, pasting, etc.).

2. Display on your public profile.
Your social handles appear on your Ktkarena profile (discreetly, at the bottom). Other users can follow you on Twitter/Instagram if you allow it.

3. Connecting with your friends already on Ktkarena.
If you link your Facebook, for example, we can tell you "12 of your Facebook friends already use Ktkarena". You can follow them or invite them to a league.

What it is NOT:

• It's not a social login to sign in to Ktkarena (our login uses your phone number, not social networks).
• It's not a data import from your social networks (we don't pull your posts, photos, or detailed contacts).

How to link an account

1. Go to Profile → Social networks.
2. You'll see the list of supported platforms:
   • Twitter / X.
   • Facebook.
   • Instagram.
   • TikTok.
   • LinkedIn.
3. Tap the platform you want to link.
4. An OAuth window opens (the social network's official window). You sign in to your account on that platform.
5. You authorize Ktkarena to access only:
   • Your public handle/username.
   • Your public profile photo (optional - you can decline).
   Not your timeline, your messages, your contacts, or other private data.
6. You're redirected back to Ktkarena with the account linked. A green check mark appears next to the platform.

You can link up to 5 platforms simultaneously.

What it changes in practice

After linking:

• On your public Ktkarena profile, social network icons appear at the bottom (Twitter, Instagram, etc.). Visitors can click to check out your external profiles.
• On share cards, the "Share on [Platform]" button is 1-click instead of several steps.
• In friend suggestions, we may show you "X of your [Platform] contacts are on Ktkarena" (only if you click to see - no intrusive push).
• No automatic posting on your social networks. Ktkarena never publishes on your behalf. Every share is explicit and triggered by you.

Unlink at any time

You can unlink an account at any time:

1. Go to Profile → Social networks.
2. Tap the linked platform.
3. Tap "Unlink this account".
4. Confirm.

Immediate effects:

• The social handle no longer appears on your public profile.
• 1-click sharing is no longer available for that platform.
• Friend suggestions based on that platform disappear.
• Ktkarena deletes the stored information about that linked account within 30 days.

You can relink the account later without losing anything on the Ktkarena side.
