TL;DR

Ktkarena earns a visible commission of 1.5 to 5% on the pot of every challenge, never a hidden margin baked into an adjusted multiplier. The rate depends on your stake tier and it's announced before you start your challenge.

Challenge confirmation screen with the commission line highlighted: identified tier, applicable rate, exact amount in KTK, net winnings if you win. Everything is visible before the challenge is started.

An honest preamble

Ktkarena takes a commission on every challenge. It isn't buried in an unreadable clause of the Terms of Service : it's explained here, in plain language, with the exact calculation.

No marketing talk. Just the facts on how we get paid.

How Ktkarena makes its money

Ktkarena doesn't set the multipliers. Multipliers emerge from the P2P market between players. When you and another player disagree on an event, the engine matches you up. The multiplier is mechanically balanced by supply and demand.

Ktkarena charges a visible commission on the challenge's pot, at a rate that depends on the stake tier:

  • Discovery (1k-10k KTK): 5%.
  • Standard (10k-50k KTK): 4%.
  • Premium (50k-200k KTK): 3%.
  • Elite (200k-1M KTK): 2%.
  • Institutional (1M-20M KTK): 1.5%.

Learn more about the commission.

Worked example: a 50,000 KTK challenge

Imagine a 50,000 KTK challenge on Ktkarena, Standard tier (4% commission).

  • You stake 50,000 KTK.
  • Your opponent also stakes 50,000 KTK against you.
  • If you win: you get back 100,000 (the pot) − 4,000 (commission) = 96,000 KTK.
  • If you lose: you lose 50,000 KTK.
  • Visible commission paid: 4,000 KTK (4% of the pot), announced before you start the challenge.

Good to know. The commission rate drops as the tier goes up. In Discovery (1,000 to 10,000 KTK), it's 5%. In Institutional (1 to 20 million KTK), it falls to 1.5% - up to 3.3x lower. The more you stake, the bigger the share you keep.

What remains true elsewhere

Honestly, there are cases where a traditional sports betting site will suit you better:

  • You want intensive live sports with multipliers updated in real time every second (Ktkarena offers pre-match and simplified live challenges, but not continuous micro-live).
  • You want accumulator challenges (several events tied into one ticket) - Ktkarena does not offer parlays: each challenge covers a single event.
  • You want to play on everything: tennis, cycling, US sports, real-time political events. Ktkarena covers a range of themes — from sport to crypto — but without that catalogue depth.
  • You don't feel like understanding how challenges work - an ultra-simplified interface exists elsewhere.

What we offer is a different model, not an absolutely better one.

Our position in one sentence

Ktkarena is built for people who want to understand what they pay, play against people, and keep a bigger share of their winnings. Not for ultra-reactive live sports addicts.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Because P2P is younger and less well known. It also works less well for highly liquid real-time events, which need ultra-fast matching, and our catalogue is still smaller than what exists elsewhere.

No, it's in our Terms of Service. Any substantial change to our rates requires 30 days' notice. And challenges in progress always keep their original rate.
