The 7 available notification types
1. Bet resolutions (arena).
You get an alert when one of your arena bets is resolved. It's the most important type - recommended always on.
2. Disputes.
If someone disputes one of your bets, or if an admin decision lands on your case, you're notified. Keep it on for push so you don't miss the response deadline.
3. Event chat.
When you take part in the chat of a live event, you receive the new messages. Can be noisy on high-traffic events.
4. Private leagues.
Activity in your private leagues: new members, notable bets, internal rankings. Worth enabling if you're heavily involved in your leagues.
5. Prediction mode.
Resolutions of your predictions and Devin point bonuses. Can be disabled if you don't use prediction mode.
6. Friend activity.
When your friends unlock a badge, reach a top ranking, etc. Can be disabled, may be spammy if you follow a lot of people.
7. News and events.
Platform announcements: upcoming new events, major updates, special challenges. Low frequency (~1 per week).
The 3 channels: push, email, SMS
For each notification type, you can choose one or more channels:
Push: a direct alert on your phone (lock screen, system notification). It's the fastest and least intrusive channel. Recommended for most types.
Email: an email sent to your registered address. More formal, keeps a record. Recommended for disputes (which deserve archiving) and news.
SMS: a text message sent to your number. Use sparingly - each SMS costs the platform money and can be noisy. Reserved for critical notifications (security alerts, big wins).
Typical use case:
- Bet resolutions: push only.
- Disputes: push + email.
- Event chat: push only, and only for the events you actively follow.
- News: email only (you read whenever you want).

Total radio silence. If you want total radio silence, uncheck everything except "Disputes". You only receive the critical alerts that require action from you within a deadline.
The "Do not disturb" mode
For specific time windows with no notifications (at night, for example):
- Go to Profile → Notifications → Do not disturb.
- Enable the option.
- Set the time windows: for example, "From 10pm to 7am, no notifications".
- Optional: exceptions - you can say "Except for disputes" (which get through even in silent mode).
"Vacation" mode: if you go on vacation and want to fully disconnect, go to Notifications → "Vacation mode". You disable all notifications for a duration (1 day to 30 days). When the duration ends, everything goes back to how it was. Handy so you don't lose your settings.
You can also use your phone's native "Do not disturb" mode (iOS and Android). It blocks all notifications from all apps. Combinable with the Ktkarena mode for total control.
